Delivery Associate

Job Summary:

We aim to look for dependable and experienced Delivery Drivers to join our busy delivery team. Drivers will load up their trucks with orders and deliver them to customer locations in areas such as Cochrane and NW Calgary. We expect our drivers to be courteous and professional when interacting with customers. All our delivery drivers must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and can lift up to 50 lbs. You must also be familiar with the area to ensure you make on-time deliveries. The  wage is CAD $19.00/hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Safely drive and operate our delivery vehicle, keeping it clean and tidy

· Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery    information.    

· Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area

· Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner

· Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions

· Load and organize product inventory from the warehouse into your vehicle and unload products in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day

· Lift packages up to 50 lbs.

· All shifts start in the morning around 9:30 AM and you can expect to work up to 10 hours per day.

· Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift

Requirements and Qualifications:

We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Health and safety are always a top priority for Amazon and the Delivery Service Partners Amazon contracts with. In partnership with one another, Amazon and the DSPs continue to consult with medical and health experts, and take all recommended precautions to keep everyone healthy.

· Be 21 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety

· Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required)

· Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle)

· Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
